what is the name of vector image editing program in Linux?

Q. hay freinds pls help me to answer this question.

A. I believe that it is niether. I believe that it is Gimp.

Vector linux minimum requirements?
Q. I've got a computer, intel celeron 333mhz with 256mb ram. It has a 10gb hard disk, but i have a windows Me partition of 8.1gb. s it possible to install Vector linux with its graphical mode?(xserver) Because i read that it needs a minimum of 2gb but i dont know if that's true...
Can you confirm plz?

A. Yes, Minimum is 2GB for root, AND 1GB for Linux swap. Total 3 GB. :)

 

where can i find vector path drawing program for linux(ubuntu)?

A. I think Inkscape will do what you are wanting. From the terminal type : sudo apt-get install inkscape or use synaptic. It is in the Ubuntu repositories. Hope that does what you need.
