Q. What are some pros and cons of using Mac?
What features does it have that would benefit the company?
What features does it not have that the company would need?
Would using Mac be more beneficial than Windows or Linux, and why?

A. Well, contrary to what Colanth (who hasn't been designing computers for 36 years) and the others who know nothing about Macs or computers in general, let's just start with facts:
All the major design firms use Macs for their work and they always have. All the major illustration and layout packages were made first for the Mac, and stayed that way for many years until Windows was finally able to run any of them. Those commercials you saw for Windows PCs on TV all those years with the dazzling grraphics were all produced on Macs, because, contrary to the implied advertising claims, Windows just wasn't able to do any of those things.
Macs are simple to setup, use and maintain. There are no viruses for Mac OS X, so you don't need antivirus software, unlike Windows users. Macs have the most advanced, stable operating system on the market, unlike Windows. Apple has the highest rated customer service and support for the past 3 consecutive years; no PC maker even came close to their ranking. Macs last longer, cost less to maintain, support, and upgrade each year, and retain their resale value longer than a Windows PC. In other words, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is much less for Macs, compared to a Windows PC.
Macs have everything you need, which is why so many design firms use them. Using a Mac is definitely more beneficial than Windows, and Linux is not an option for you.
If you go with Windows PCs, you invite and have to deal with more than 150,000 known viruses, with more appearing each day; a PC loaded with adware/crapware/trialware that is of no use to you, low quality components in the hardware, and an operating system riddled with many, many bugs that Microsoft has known about for years, yet done nothing to fix. Do you want to spend your time dealing with all those issues? I think not.
At the same time, Windows PCs are built with low-quality components, cheap, ugly cases, and they require replacing every 2 years, on average. They have virtually no resale value once you buy them. And according to Microsoft, it costs an average of $8100 each year to support, maintain, and upgrade a Windows PC. When a Windows PC goes out of service, it stays out much longer and cost more to repair, as well as the cost of lost productivity.

A. I doubt that you'll have any Linux users answer this question, because they believe Linux to be bullet proof ;-)
What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages to the computer buyer when using one of the free?
Q. operating systems such as google chrome or linux rather than windows?
A. 1 If the computer already comes with Windows, there's no point in wiping it to install a free OS (although that is what I would do)
Pros:
It's free :)
There is a large and supportive community for some linux OSes (if you're willing to learn a little bit)
Linux is highly customizable
There is a lot of cool effects available for some GUI's
Most of the software is free open source alternatives to Windows software
Any one can modify the code of software to improve it
Little to no virus problems, I have no antivirus installed
Being made easier all teh time
Cons:
Can be difficult to migrate from windows
A lot of things are difficult to do (although constantly being made easier)
Some Windows software can be difficult to get working in linux
Software is open source so anyone can modify/look at the code (pro or con)
Difficult to choose a good distro
A lot of command line typing
All in all migrating to linux is a good strategy if you want to save a few hundred $ and are really willing to learn. If you want everything to just work the same then save yourself the anger and just pay out. If you really are willing to learn however there are many people who will help you get started with linux.
